Great! Reminds me of Jack Thammarat!

But mixing could be WAY better.

Might be a good idea to add a reverb on the lead guitar.

Drums are a little weak, in particular in the intro.

You might want to better EQ the bass and 2nd guitar, at some places there are distorting.

MothrasRevenge responds:

Thanks for the listen!
I'm still learning how to properly mix and balance the lead and rhythms.

Good! I like!

Small detail though, the intro was too much explicit. You want it to "pick" the curiosity of the listener, you want to show small bits of the awesomeness that is coming, but not the full thing. What you just did here was throwing the main riff from the begining till the end, and whilst it is good, if the listener says at the begining "this is going to be awesome, you're one step further.

Keep it up!

Intresting for sure! Well executed, orchestral part is flawless!

Quality piece for sure!

The snare was a little bit out of place, would rather loved a plain dry sound. Not sure if that snare was the best choice.

1:34 part was a little buggy, should be fixed.

Overall great song!!

Kreos responds:

Thanks! I'm a bit short of sounds for percussion... but I'll see what different choice I can make (I hope).
The 1:34 I did on purpose, it changes compass from 4/4 to 3/4, it looks like you didn't like it quite a lot, but well, that was actually gonna happen ^-^ (just did the change for fun). I'm glad you liked it (:

A smile appeared on my face at 0:18 :P

Little timing error at 0:04, it's deadly when you're playing solo.

The solo was somewhat... soft compared at the rest of the song. I would have expected something to compensate the guitar gone soloing (mabe harder drums???)

Other than that, pretty well executed!

Schleif responds:

thanks! yeah, i kind of rushed the whole solo part to be honest. on the other hand, i was kind of going for mor of a soft contrast to the rest of the song, but i definitely see what you mean. thanks a lot for the kind words!

My overall impression on this was that the song was not fluent. It was well executed at some places, yet at other times, you just broke the rithm without transition anyhow and got to another part. You need to folow a "logical" pattern, just like when writing a text.

0:37 was... um, you get it, right?? Not the good notes!

111122223138 responds:

I knew this was rough, but I've got to work on smoothing out songs. This was, in some ways, a demo.
Thanks for the review though!

Nan, won't bomb

The sinth at 0:35 is too harsh. Doesn't fade well in the beat.

Beat is good though, almost soothing too.

Kind of... unique????

I would really suggest you to pick a chord, and stick to it. You'll see your song quality skyrocket!!

Nice drumz, as always!

BowserThedestructive responds:

Thanks yeah I am still learning chords which is why this song really just was "of the moment" feeling. I felt like taking a snap at some crunch drums haha. But for me I still have to learn some musical stuff so I am further now but still not there just yet. I am beginning to learn chords and melodies better though. Anyhow thanks for the review ;). Glad it wasn't just me who enjoyed what I did with the drums hehe.

Cool!

Mabe your delay/echo effect on the piano is too long, it is starting to override on the next note.

BowserThedestructive responds:

Its suppose to do that it is the intended effect of it. Also the delay/effects are on my master channel so everything is delayed in sync. I used a plugin called "timeless 2" by fabfilter its very sweet delay plugin.
Thanks for the review ;]

Yep, definitive talent here!

It's funny how you switch between chords, could get weird in the middle of a mp3...

Keep it up!

That:

Memento, Memento Vivere
Genius Loci Serviam
Per Ardua ad Astra
Seculo Seculorum
Semper Vigilo
Semper Fidelis
Semper Fortis
Semper Liber
Memento, Memento Vivere

Astonishing!! What does it says???

VGSongbird responds:

Rough Translation:
Remember, Rememeber to live
Spirit of this place, I will serve
Through adversity to the stars
Forever and ever
Always Vigilant
Always Faithful
Always Brave
Always Free
